Simply taking off the downpipe seemed like a long process so I bought a used turbo and figured I might as well have one on hand if it is the turbo.

I don't understand why it doesn't make even 200mbars of boost. Visually, when somebody revs the engine, I can see the small turbo actuator moving up and down.

Discussion Starter · #1 · Mar 7, 2010 (Edited) so I lost my turbo this weekend it spins like crazy but has only 3 to 4 lbs of boost. the waste gate arm moves easly,when I hook up the vacume hose it comes right to the top. so I unhooked it and wired it up and ran down the road and then wired it down and ran down the road no boost. Like I said, it just feels like there is no turbo there at all. The car is modifyed, bluepower tune, exhaust, intercooler, boosted to 8psi but apart from that its stock.... is the turbo still spinning free when you use your hand to spin it. the boost solinoid is another part of the system follow the hose from the actuator back to the solinoid.
